Most of newborn
baby death is due to newborn infection. In absence of awareness and caution,
many newborns die in our country after birth. Therefore, the necessary measures
and precautions to prevent infantile infections should be taken.
What is a
newborn infection?
Newborn infection is a blood transfusion of children under 90
days of age. Initial infection is seen within first week of birth. The next
infection is seen in 8-89 days of birth. The child is receiving this infection
from mother before birth or at the time of birth.
What is the
redness mark of skin of a newborn?
Almost all kinds of rays or reddish spots on the skin of the
newborn can be. However, most of the rashes are not harmful and they are easily
cured.
The type of
rash on the newborn skin
There are a few types of reddish spots on the newborn skin.
Such as:
Acne-like
spots-
These problems arise due to mother's hormones. These usually
last for a few weeks to months.
It does not require any treatment.
Red grains –
It looks like a mosquito bite. After a few days or weeks
without any treatment, it can be cured.
Gray stain –
Children who have black or gray skin, can be seen in gray or
blue stain. These are not harmful and when children grow up enough to go their school
these stains simply go away.
White
leathery skin rises-
This problem occurs if the child develops a little late than
usual. In this case the internal skin is soft and tender.
Baby rash
in the first few months of birth
Eczema (Atopic
dermatitis) -
There may be red rash on baby's chest, arms, legs, face,
elbows and behind the knees. This
problem arises due to dry, touch-sore skin and allergic reactions. The following
things have to be followed for its treatment:
# Baby clothes should be cleaned with light detergent and cannot
be cleaned with any other chemical
# You may have to use steroid cream according to the doctor's
advice
Prickly
heat –
In the middle of the neck of baby, in throat, in hip and
between the two legs, those parts which are very sweaty may found small Prickly
heat. For all these areas of body should be keep dry and children have to wear
loose clothes.
Fungal
infection –
It may
appear in different ways. In this case, there is a white crust in the tongue which is
known as a trash. Small blisters are seen on baby's hip and the red rash
in between two legs.
How to
prevent newborn baby rash
The child must always be kept clean
Keep an eye on the child not to be drenched
Mild soap should be used while bathing your baby
